Let me know what you guys think.

God has elected people to be saved, thus they will be saved, as God as Predetermined them. and therefore its those whom he has Predetermined who will be saved. So if somone becomes a Christian then falls away it is because God never Predetermined them.
Thus it is only those whom God as Predetermined to be saved, who will be saved, as in if someone "Obtians" salvation, then they need to maintain the walk with God to stay saved, but if they fall away then they were never really saved, or God had never predetermined for them to goto heaven.

Tell me what you think please.

The only point here I will make is the elect themselves do not maintain their salvation, but God through His ordained means of grace maintains the elect. Remember what Paul said in Galatians, "What! Shall you start out with grace and be perfected by the flesh (moral law)."

I'd disagree, we don't maintain our walk with God, the grace is just as irresistiable at our conversion as it is through our walk of santification. God maintains our walk...

God's work and purpose in election does not stop at the moment of conversion. At that moment...the moment we put our faith in Christ...we are declared justified in the sight of God. Our sins (past, present and future) are imputed to Christ on the Cross and His righteousness is imputed to us. We cannot simply un-justify ourselves by something we do.

Moreover, Scripture is replete with promises and examples of God preserving His elect in their faith. Just as God preserved a faithful remnant in the covenant people of Israel, so He continues to preserve a faithful remnant in the covenant people of the church. Those who profess faith but fall away into apostacy show by their actions that they were never saved to begin with, for perseverance itself is a fruit of true saving faith.

There will never be a person who comes to true saving faith in Christ who will fail to obtain a full and final salvation.
