What do you think should be done with this forum?

RC--I was referring to the straight name of Seventh-day Adventist. In other words, no "Traditional or Progressives" before it.

Ok, that is the way the main forum page would be anyway so you should be content with that, the other things are sub-forums.

Thanks. May I ask what do you mean by a forum with an official Adventist heading? Do you mean an official forums for both groups of Adventists?

Mankin--I meant that should the forum split into two seperate entitites, that only those who adhere to the official 28 FB's and how have consistently supported the church's fundamental doctrines, be allowed to use the name of Seventh-day Adventist.

In other words, when you come into CF now and look thru the denominations list you see the name, Seventh-day Adventist. If we split--there cannot be TWO listings with that same name.

And so, I believe that those who have indicated in the past their desire to leave the church or to try to change it's doctrines, will have to come up with a name for their forum that indicates their particular beliefs, but they cannot use in that name any part of the Seventh-day Adventist name.

I hope I made this clear for you. There is no malice in this proposal, it just makes good sense as to avoid any confusion between the two groups to the general public.
