I just started watching Witch Hunter Robin on Cartoon Network. (Only seen 4 episodes so far...) Just wondering what everybody thinks of it in general. Also how do you feel about the way Christianity is portrayed???

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seen about ten eps... didn't think the plot developed fast enough so I got bored. As for the way Christianity is portrayed, well it's pretty much the same as with almost all other anime: incorrectly

I assume they get christianity correct about as often as we get Tibetian monestaries correct - never. Usually their view of Christianity is about as absurd as our view of monks (Kung Fu movies anyone?)

I personally love the series. I have only seen the first five episodes, but i love the character designs, and i think that Robin is awesome in the artistic respect. I have noticed a little slow plot developement but its better than the last couple anime i have invested in

I will address the question about Christianity first. I do not care. Witch Hunter Robin seems to have good animation as well as a good theme and plot. The only thing I dislike about it sofar is the man whom resembles Hitler. I know it was done for effect but I still dislike it.

I think the anime is really good, but the subject content may not be good for younger kids (14+ I think is what CN gives it). However the English voices is horrible compared to the Japanese ones. I watched it all subbed and then I watched the first few eps on adult swim and couldn't stand how bad the voice acting is.
