i think the darkness are awesome, taking musicback to the 80's. gotta luv tht pink suit justin hawkins wears. yeh permission to land would be one of the best rock albums this year in my opinion, along with jet - get born

Yeah but then again, jet gets to be to mainstream at times. But they are ok!

I don't really see the Darkness as being a return to the 80s. I enjoy Permission to Land, there are some really good songs, "Holding My Own" in particular.

Meh... I've only heard their hit song, so I'm probably not in a position to say, but from what I've heard, they're basically a clone of other classic rock bands, Queen especially. Queen's fine, but we don't need more Queens.

Getting the teeth straightened works a treat!! I like his guitar work, but the outfit is deadset awful!!
