Is it because both say somthing about casting out devils?

I think we're a little backwards here. Satan is the one who works through the "unwilling" Christian. As far as Saul on the road to Damascus, he could have said, "sorry... not interested!" However, Paul was so overwhelmed by that supernatural experience that he "willingly" surrendered himself. God did not make Saul to become Paul. Saul made the choice and received Jesus as Lord and Savior.

This was a proprietary passage , due to the expection of the Legalistic Jews who wanted a Messiah of their choosing not Gods.

Does He deny some , and Give to others?
Or do you need Faith to recieve from God?
Yet God gives Faith as you say so this statement along with previous ones create a faulty parallelism.

Grace rules. Romans 5:21.

Both faith (Acts 18:27) & to believe (Philippians 1:29) are given by God.

Faith is given by God. Acts 3:16. You don't produce it.

2 Thessalonians 3:2: And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith.

Not all have faith.

So God hasn't given faith to all.

In agreement searching for knowlage, and the Blessings that are found in God's Word.
It seems that the notion of God giving saving Faith is being pushed in other fourms as well.
It is a slight of hand trick to promote that God predestined some and some He did not.
Same old stuff just wrapped in circular logic.
I want to converse about the power of God working in our lives.
I want to talk about the authority of the believer, and standing on the Word for great things to come to pass.

The inconsiderate do not care that others may be going through trials, and the fellowship of the brethern is important.
We are not silly women laden with divers lust.
We are not always searching but never coming to the knowlage of truth.

It makes me wonder Why?

Great things came to pass in the life of Nebuchadnezzar after he acknowledged the will of God.

Daniel 4: 32: You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”

Refusing to acknowledge the will of God isn't faith.

"Grace rules"... or, "Faith rules" by (themselves) will NOT please God. But Grace through Faith does. There is NO Faith without Grace received. There is NO Grace without Faith applied. You cannot have one without the other.

(Note: I will copy this post in the event it gets removed). This is the Word of Faith forum which means that only Word of Faith beliefs can be taught here. I would humbly remind our (no doubt) very busy staff of our Word of Faith forum rules on this. To my knowledge there are no Word of Faith (Calvinists)! Please read what PastorJoey said in the thread "Faith in Faith or Faith in Christ" (Post 55). "Am I in a Word of Faith Thread"?

One final thought... If only the "elect" few have been (past tense) already CHOSEN to be His sheep. Then why would an ALL loving God go ahead and let "billions" (to be born) into this world just to be destined to... forever be tortured in hell? If there is (no hope) for them, why would God even bring them into existence in the first place?

I pray that ALL the Christian "viewers" of (other faiths)... that are in the background reading this and seeking God, for more of Him, ONLY to find out that there are billions destined to hell and there's nothing you can do about it. Think about this... YOU may NOT have been pre-chosen to be His sheep. As far as any searching "unbelievers" who are also in the background seeking the things of God...

As for me.... have I been chosen?
