"Is that one of your bones?"

"Nope, that's a rotisserie chicken. I took my brain out to polish it and I forgot where it was, and I've just been puttin' this chicken in here, you know what I mean?"

Great show.

I like some of the "adult cartoons" (Sealab 2021, ATHF, Futurama, etc.) on Adult Swim. Not really into anime for the most part, but I've seen some that I enjoy. I think most kids' cartoons that are put out now are lame, but I'll gladly sit through hours of old Looney Tunes/Tom & Jerry/Droopy/etc. And of course, when nostalgia overwhelms me I won't hesitate to pop in a VCD of Thundarr or the old D&D cartoon... On that nostalgic note, I'd love to get some of the old Star Blazers show-- if only I could bring myself to spend the money! :)

I enjoy cartoons although I think the older ones tend to be a lot better than the new ones. I really like Garfield, Bugs Bunny, and such classics. Older seasons of the Simpsons are good too. Futurama is a good one. And I really like Ren and Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, and Rocko's Modern Life but they're hard to find now. Some cartoons that I absolutely can't stand though are Rugrats, most Canadian cartoons, Rocket Power, and most of the Adult Swim cartoons. Those are just dumb.

I don't really watch a lot of TV, but sometimes I'll watch cartoons. I'm not really into the adult ones, or the ones for little little kids. I like the classic Looney Toons ones, so if they're on, I'll watch. Otherwise I don't really watch cartoons.

I love cartoons...very diverse taste here:

I love Daria...I crack up everytime I watch it
The Simpsons have peaked and are on the decline...but I still enjoy watching
Two Stupid Dogs makes me cry it's so funny
Bugs Bunny is always good
I miss the Laff Olympics...i used to watch that all the time as a kid
Scooby Doo sans Scrappy is daBomb...Scrappy is a good reason to have animals spayed or neutered.
The Smurfs were good, but I remember at some point it was on for like 90 minutes on Saturday mornings...that's too much of a good thing...
Garfield was awesome...
Anyone else remember the Charlie Brown cartoons that came on Saturdays? I loved those...

i enjoyed cartoons...

i loved "daria", but it got pulled. too bad. that show was brilliant.
i also adored "sailor moon", but it got pulled as well.
i loved "rugrats" when they were babies.
one of my favourite movies is actually a cartoon turned feature length film, "a goofy movie".
some cartoon mark the beginning of the christmas season for me, like this beautifully illustrated "nutcracker" and something by "for better or worse"

right now, i enjoy comics more. ones which are joyfully simple or ones play on the complexity of life -- the best comics do both.

I still love to watch cartoons. I also love to watch anime as well (hence the Trigun picture in my sig). Favorite "kid" cartoons: Angry Beavers and Johnny Bravo. My favorite regular cartoon on Cartoon Nettwork would be Samuri Jack. Oh, I and I must forget the Clone Wars shorts. Those were awesome.

Also love Ed, Edd, & Eddy though it may gross some people out

I like watching Ed, Edd, & Eddy as well. Also I forgot to mention - I can't stand anime. I also can't stand Speed Racer. Same kind of animation in my books. The way their mouths open too wide really gets on my nerves...

I believe cartoons can be for both adults and children. Also, I still watch cartoons, even the ones directed at younger children. I'll admit, it is rare for me but I do enjoy some of the older cartoons that I watched as I was a child.

Cartoons rock!!! Seriously though, the ones made in like the late 80's and early 90's were the best to me, although that's when I was growning up. ^_^ I think that nowadays good cartoons are just getting harder and harder to find. It's way too not innocent now for my innocent mind.
I would go with the old school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show being my favorite. There was also SuperBook and Flying House, which I loved as a kid because it talked about Jesus and the Bible without being lame. Yeah, I was like that as a kid... God made me weird, but it's a good thing.
I guess now I like shows such as The Fairly Oddparents and Ed, Edd, and Eddy because they have good dialogue writing with some great one-liners and comebacks. I've become more into anime, but I'm very very picky about it, so I don't usually watch a whole lot of it. I can't stand the Simpsons, and I never really have been able to. I think that Family Guy has better writing in it, but they're both pretty dumb shows.
On that note, does anyone else out there not like The Simpsons, or am I the only one? Because I get looks like I'm not human or something like that because I don't like them, or those kinds of shows really. *shrugs* Meh...
