My take on the subject.
1)For the most part (and there may be exceptions) Christian Music is Entertainment for Christians, not evangelism for non-Christians.
2) They make a living off of their work.
3) The Record labels (whether you like them or not) deserve their cut of the record. They put work into it too.
4) If you have a band, and you are not in a contract with a Record label banning it, you can distribute it however you want.
