I've met Hebrew Christians before. A couple worshiped at my old congregation. The one I became friends with moved on to Cali and was in films and tv again for a while, and retired after getting re-married. He's kind of dropped off the radar and I think of him quite often.
While my inlaws are not affiliated with anything like the AHC, they are for all intents and purposes Hebrew Catholics. DH's grandparents are learning about their Hebrew roots thank to Dr Ruth Lapide's Q&A series on BibelTV here in Germany, and have asked us a few questions when we get together. They're in their late 70s to mid 80s and due to the climate they grew up in, knew almost nothing of Judaism.
A mom of a friend of DH's works with in the German catholic church here, and mostly in the direction of Catholic-Jewish relations. I met her when I first moved here and was suprised to see her house has as many mezuzot as ours does, as well as a Sabbath set and a few other things she picked up on a couple visits to Israel.

Are you saying you see no need to get along with Hebrew Catholics and support them in how they chose to live out their faith..or were you meaning to say that you may disagree with them and yet see no need to not get along/support their efforts?While I might not agree with certain doctrines or practices, I see no need to get along or support their efforts of walking out their faith as best they see fit

To be clear, the focus of the majority of resources is primarily placed upon Messianics/Jewish believers who lean more so toward Eastern Catholicism/Byzantine cultural perspectives...similar to what many of my friends/family grew up in. One of my friends is a Messianic Jewish believer who has a daughter currently dating someone that's an Eastern Catholic---and it has been a blessing seeing how they work out their relationship.Easy G Thank you so much for your kind words and your thoughtful approach. Where you go to meet Messianics always makes a difference, as every fellowship is truly different. At the Messianic fellowship I go to , we've often had a lot of conversations on how believers are to relate to one another and how unfortunate it is that people seemed bent toward demeaning all things Catholic while exalting all things opposite of it as if they've been flawless. Many other fellowships are more than comfortable with ecumenical dialouge, especially when it comes to common issues impacting all.I am happy to meet a Messianic Christian who is ecumenical toward the Hebrew Catholics. I know some of the Hebrew Catholics I met talk to Messianics and consider them brothers in Christ albeit separated from formal union. I myself just never knew any messianics personally and just a few of them I met seemed very anti-Catholic.

So true..I've been reading on a few different Catholic-based news orgs online, and reporting on interfaith efforts of the church for the last couple of years. I see some wheels turning that some people don't, and I do believe that there is an air of movement towards healing old wounds. Just writing one of the issues a Jewish person would have with the Catholic church.
One of the first things Jewish children are taught is the issue with idols, graven images. There is a midrash taught about Abraham as a child, smashing some idols when he discovers there is only One True God.
Well, when I was a young child, there was a Catholic church on the edge of the Jewish neighborhood. Sometimes, I would have to walk passed it. One day, they had the doors open, and I was curious, so walking by on the sidewalk, I looked thru the doors. Inside were statues, with candles lit in front of these statues (graven/molded images). I saw some people kneeling and lighting candles in front of these graven/molded images. I was very shocked because I knew that the Jewish people had found that there was only One True God thousands of years ago, and we knew not to make graven/molten images, nor to bow down before them. I wondered why the Gentiles did not know this.
I know there are Catholics who have truly discovered what a personal relationship with Yeshua is. But, the making or use of idols/statues/graven or molded images is one of the very first things a Jewish child learns not to do.
