  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hate to break it to you, but technically mmHmm was released on a "secular lable". Oh the horror! It's obvious that they are now in Satan's control.

Whats your problem, dude? Secular label or not, it was the message I was refering to.

I stand by what I said. I don't have a problem except with the overwhelming number of people who think that it is detrimental to the album if the songs don't mention God or Jesus.

Some of the most profound songs that I have heard christians create deal solely with secular themes.

I do not excract complete and unabashed enjoyment from listening to the music of relient k, which I find to occaisionally be rather unoriginal and monotone, although I did once appreciate the flow in their lyricism, as well as their overall silliness. Those days have passed now.

Don't want to offend anybody.
