What do you take part in within your Corp?

I am in the songsters and am only just starting in the band this Sunday which i find very very scary

haha, just having a read though this, its is so awesome seeing what people do in there corps, I was in the band, and also did multimedia stuff, and at the moment, i dont even go, and reading this makes me miss the fun times, i would so love to go back and do all that stuff again!

I did sound in my old church. Currently I don't do anything. i would like to get involved in the boys club especially as they have been struggling for leaders however my wife doesn't get home from work in time for me to be able to go.

I play the electric guitar in the worship band. I help out with youth group.
I also run the Men's Floor hockey night that we have at my church!

The Newf. (my wife) and I take part in the Saturday Prayer Meetings. The Women meet in one group and the Men in their own.

Some wonder why more people don't get saved and why more prayers are not answered. The answer is likely that less than 10% of the congregation are concerned enough to join the prayer meetings.

We also help when needed for the Breakfasts for the Street Folks.

Just wondering do you have proof that the people not turning up aren't praying or are you just assuming they aren't? Perhaps some of them pray at other times as the prayer meeting time is not suitable. At my corps I struggled to get to church as I was so tired from getting home so late from work (1:30 in the morning) that there was no way I was going to be able to make the prayer meeting before the service. I think one should be careful before labelling all these people.

really? you have to be a solder most places..

but anyway...im a girlguard, in jr.band(baritone) divisional youth band, drum line(tympani) and my moms the youth pastor, and im home-schooled...so im at the corp ALOT
