Matthew 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

What do you see in this parable? What is it telling us?

To me it says, find Jesus and when you do give up whatever you have to, sell whatever you have to, do whatever you have to do to have Jesus in your life and never let go. He is worth everything. It also says when you find Jesus you find true joy and happiness; you have found everything.

I think we are to seek Christ with a great passion, we are to grab a hold of Him and hold on, no matter what. We are to be joyful -- knowing we possess a priceless treasure.

We can know about the treasure, we can know where the treasure is too. We can jump up and down with excitement about it, we can talk about it and we could take the label of treasure hunter but to get this treasure we have to sell all to get it.
