  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Bring a full-length mirror...trust me, this comes in handy. And its soo much better at making sure ur outfit is together than running into the bathroom and trying to see urself in the small mirrors there. lol ;)

Just kidding.
Mainly food and stuff, but my girlfriend brings me soda when she feels sorry for me. I really missed my T.V. too; now that it's here with my gamecube I have problems getting people to leave my room so that I can sleep.

Be sure to take posters and pictures with you - something to decorate those bare walls! People love my room, because I've really personalized it. Just because it's small doesn't mean that it has to be impersonal. You can make it cozy and inviting - it helps so much!

I have tapestries (one is just a beautiful length of fabric from Malaysia), world pictures (from an old calendar of mine), maps, and dried, pressed leaves on my walls. :)

1: Their sanity.
2: A map to find some off campus apartments.

HAHAHAHAHAA!!!! TRUE THAT!!!

Dorms are excellent for just startin' students, but I've a feeling most make the jump to apartment after a few semesters. Or not!!

If you live on campus, is there anything else (besides the essentials) that you wish you had brought with you? Or, what would think someone should bring with them?

Hmmm... its been awhile since I moved out, but there is something I always think about...
"THINGS I SHOULDN'T HAVE BROUGHT!!!"
The only reason is... college students are transient. They move from place to place...
DONT LOAD YOURSELF DOWN WITH STUFF!!! This applies to everyone of all ages. Well some exceptions always exist.

I would've brought more sentimental items, like my dog, but they don't allow them in this apartment ;(
