Many of these topics are extremely controversial. I can't imagine anyone making "collage" type courses out of them!

It's $5000 to take the entire lot of them, and earn a "doctorate". What is anybody supposed to do with that? I imagine 99.9% of the churches out there would look at such a certificate and actually think less of you for sitting through the entire thing.

Looking at the proposed outline they really have not a clue what comprises a ThD, DD or PhD.

Somehow I doubt it will even be worth the paper it is printed upon but someone somewhere will certianly make money out of all this.

Haha yeah well you aren't supposed to prove your teaching wrong by teaching the Bible.

To be fair though I am sure each of those schools even this one in the OP have some element of truth to them. I have no idea about Bentley or King, but this one in the OP offering Vampire hunting classes? That is a bit farfetched and scifyish.

Considering one must spend at least $595 for this, I'm not impressed. I have a tic when it comes to people purporting to offer help for others to get stronger in the Lord, and yet the only ones who can use their methods have to pay for it.

I've contacted them through their website and requested curriculum for their systematic theology courses. I'm curious to see exactly what teachings they are giving as the foundation the rest of their courses are built on.

I'm guessing its heavily skewed in pneumatology and angelology, or at least their versions of them.

Given the ecclectic range they claim to offer I doubt the pneumotogy is based upon the Pauline corpus and yes I agree with your point about hermeneutics.

2 Timothy 4:3 wasn't written, "3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. "

My strong advice is to put aside this fascination you have with this man. If you continue, there's a good chance it will end in demonic oppression or possession. Submitting yourself to a voodoo priest who acknowledges performing psychic surgery can't end well.

Since the Holy Spirit doesn't perform 'psychic surgery', it means either the guy is a con man using carnival tricks and hype to get people to believe and relieve them of their money OR he's genuinely operating in the supernatural, but using demonic powers (technically preternatural) and getting the people into demonic bondage even though they think they're being healed by God. Either way, the one thing I am absolutely sure of is that this man is NOT setting people free from bondage.
