Have you guys thought about prayer walking in your community?

I have done it over a period of time. You better be ready and unafraid though. It starts to work and the demons start to shut you down. They started coming to me in dreams, but while dreaming, I would hide my loved ones and either pray or start reading the Word. It worked but it is a little scary. You had better be prayed up and continue even when you are asleep.

At my old church we did spiritual mapping. My Pastor had us go to each of the corners of our state (where by the way we found masonic obolisk's marking each geographical corner). In a nutshell, There he had us pray for the Lord to break the power of certain dominions over our state. We would have communion in that place and pray to reconsecrate the ground in the name of Jesus. He had us do this in our city as well. There were groups of us scattered around the city and we basically did the same thing, but prayed for different things that were pertinent to the city.

Do I believe it worked? If you want my personal opinion. I can find no reference in the bible for "spiritual mapping". It seems like just "spiritual mumbo jumbo" to me. But who am I to judge. I can't say that I can even begin to understand how God works. It could be him, or it could just be another new age thing thats crept into the church to "deceive the elect".

As for me, Im sticking to the simple now. Praying for the lost, my children, my home, and asking the Lord to direct my words when I get the opportunity to share Christ with someone who is genuinely interested in knowing who he is and what he is about. Feeding the poor, and loving my neighbor. Thats enough to fill anyones day. I have come to the conclusion that while the Lord walked this earth he taught us many things, one of which was to live simply and love much. If I can do that just a tiny fraction as good as he did it, I will hear those words I long to hear when I meet him face to face.

Well done, my good and faithful servant. Anything above that is gravy.
