What do you go by?

I usually tailor my response for the person I'm speaking with. So for instance when asked for a "religious preference" at registration at the hospital, I saw that I was talking to a woman named Olga with a little bit of an accent. So I responded Russian Orthodox. In general here in Idaho, however, Orthodox Christian is probably the best general response because so many people here are Mormons. But if I know that someone might know what Orthodoxy is, I will either add "Russian" or leave it off depending on whether I think it might be helpful.
