That's about all I can eat most days. I have to eat hardly anything to stay as thin as I like.

I would recommend eating a breakfast, lunch, and dinner, even if it's only a small amount, along with taking a multivitamin everyday if you have a low appetite.

I feel your pain.......um, but not literally. I'm a C.O.E. , so it's completely out of my realm of understanding. :) Still, picking at things is a good way to start. Even if you can only manage to get down a bite of something, those bites add up. You could also look into things like those suppliment drinks and such if you find it easier to get fluids down than to swallow down solid foods....

Fix the problem and the symptom will go away. Prayer is your no. 1 best choice....if you're having a bad problem with anxiety...or even if its just a hard time in your life....you still might want to consider seeing someone and taking some mild meds? It will help take the edge off. I had panic attacks since I was 19 yrs old, very frequently, and because I was Christian and didn't agree with all the pill popping going on these days...I stayed away from meds. When I considered not even going to my niece's wedding for fear of an attack...I knew then I finally needed help...and I got it. Its nothing to be ashamed of...and if you are to the point to where you need a little help....well....you need it.

Thanks :)

A friend has enquired for me about a Christian counsellor, I haven't heard anything yet though.

I used to panic all the time... now I just battle through which I don't think does me any favours.

Sounds like a good friend to me. :)

You might have a chemical imbalance that can only be treated successfully with meds....whether you'd have to be on them permanently or not who knows. One thing I do know is that I did just that...battled through them for years with my stubborn self...and never did they get better.

God Bless!

Facing the stress is what needs to be done, but that is something that can take time, as it can take time to change the eating pattern. In the mean time, to stop losing too much weight, try diet shake meal replacers. I know it sounds strange to use diet shakes when you are already getting too thin, but this way you will at least get the necessary food elements. I personally have good results with the products of herbalife.

Aside that... do not think about forcing yourself to eat all of the time. Just stay away from the fridge or the cupboard (except for those diet shakes or other food replacers) try not to worry about it, but do eat whenever you feel like it.
Buying food that you normally like was a smart choice. You also might find yourself all of a sudden craving something really unusual or unhealthy. Just go with it then...

Also ehm... aromatherapy... I believe that cinamin, vanilla and orange scent are suposed to increase apetite. If it doesn't work... you only have a nice smelling house as a byproduct.

I'm doing okay actually :)

I'm only borderline underweight (5'8" and I weigh about 120lb) but people keep telling me I'm thin and they don't realise it's embarrassing. Would you say to a fat person 'You're fat' ? I hope not.

Anyhow I still can't eat meals but I'm eating small stuff through the day, and drinking lots. Its hard not to get dehydrated when you're not eating much.
