Dear friend;

Witnessing today is not easy. Christians will always
be attacked for sharing their faith. That is something
that most people today do not want to hear.

I believe that even though believers are going to
be attacked, they should trust in the Holy Spirit,
and give an answer to the hope that fills them.
(1 Peter 3:15) Christians through the centuries,
From the time of Christ till now, have been attacked
for their testimony to the truth.

Despite all of this, the church is to carry out the
Great Commission, and to preach the word,"In
season, and out of Season." Don't let the attacks
discourage you in sharing your hope. Trust in the
Holy Spiirt to give you the words to speak, and
the faith and courage to share your faith.

Peace.

It depends upon circumstances. I don't retaliate in kind, but I do work with friends who have video cameras! And I do carry a cell phone.

You see not turning the other cheek does not mean that you don't call the police when you are assaulted. You should.

What kind of tesitmony is it when you are seen as a punching bag for nothing? Call the cops and keep on preaching. Go back there again the next day and claim the ground for Christ.

If the abusers show up, use your picture cell phone to copy it or have a friend in a car with a video camera. One side is going to win. Either you will establish freedom of speech or they will establish your silence. I prefer freedom of speech.

The real victory is not who goes to jail, but who goes to heaven. Who knows, since this is a hate crime, you may have a golden opportunity to preach to the hate criminal at the post-trial sentencing phase. You can share the love of Jesus with him and he is required to listen. Just think of the possibilities!

And be certain that there will be many people watching. They will pay attention to whether you care enough for them to come back... and keep coming back.

Good blessings upon your ministry.

(But there is another side to this. I never preach to a person who is not interested. That is not God's way I think. Rather be cordial and move to another person.

If you are in a public park on a soap box and have a crowd, then you can preach in spite of hecklers. Why? Because some people ARE listening and hoping that just maybe you are the real deal. Don't disappoint them. They want to hear you tell what God has done for others and what He can do for them too.

i've never been attacked! I can't believe someone would attack you for talking about your faith!!!! That seems absolutely crazy to me!

I have only been mocked and taking the mick out of. My friends sometimes offend God by blaspheming when I am trying to talk about Him but i don't get attacked! Prayin for you guys! I struggle to understand how evil this world is! It can't be human to treat others like that!

I haven't been attacked yet, but it's GOING to happen. I think God has just been graciously protecting me while I've been witnessing thus far. But eventually IT WILL happen. It' s just a matter of when.
Thanks for your responses guys. :)

Bump.
