The long answer: I spend my days volunteering my services to almost everyone who calls on me and needs something. Among my repertoire of roles: babysitter, care-taker for elders, lawn services, tax preparer, bus driver, minor home repairwoman, house painter, secretary/accountant, pharmacy liaison, legal witness, launderer, seamstress, resume/term paper editor, calculus tutor, homeschooler, landlord, travel agent, scout leader, lunch monitor, robotics club mentor, Women's ministries leader, stewardship director, community services bookkeeper, Bible school teacher and keeper of the DVR and paper shredder.

I work as a cross between a receptionist and an Administrative Assistant/Clerical worker. I've been with the same company for 12 years.

I used to have a side job 30 hours/week doing data entry, but because that was tax-oriented, that job has dried up as the popularity of online filing has grown in the past decade. I'm glad, though, because I was making good money, but working 14 hours a day with only an hour lunch break at the one job and 15 minute break at the other was getting to be a real drag. Not to mention the work peaks for that night job always seemed to come during the best spells of weather we would get in my area - end of March to middle of May, and all of September.
