  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

what do u do when you and your boyfriend are going through a rough time, not because you or him but because of his mother? I have to watch him cry all the time and he doesnt usually cry about anything and the past week since i havent seen him all i do is hear him cry weather he thinks i can hear it in his voice or not. He says all we can do is pray about it but how do i help him in the meantime??

yeah... loved took what i was gonna say.
make yourself available and be there for him.
whatever it is, he doesnt need to go through it alone.
just the knowledge that he has your support and that you are there for him can lift him.

you cant save people from their testimony.... but you can be with them while they go through it so to see they arent alone. and rest assured, he will come through it, and remember that love never fails, and love conquers all. love always finds a way.

I agree, the best thing you can do for a guy or gal is just to support them, listen to them if they open up, and if and only if its appropriate offer some caring and careful advice. But often that requires being asked for advice in the case of a guy. But yeah listen and support and encouragement are important, and of course prayer is the best thing you can do. :crossrc:
