Many....so many in fact, seem to and have problems today.....and worldwide indeed.
I recall my childhood family where we did not have a care.?
I do not have a care even now........40 years a Pastor and in the U.K. not a great return financially, but serving Jesus.
"Learning to lean, learning to lean......""Simply trusting every day.....etc. "Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus........" I guess I received a precious heritage....trusting in Jesus.
We live in a big spacious house. We would love to move to a smaller place. All the cleaning.....etc......now just the two of us,.......over 40 years later.
God be with you all......I pray you all will know and be aware of His love and blessing. God Bless you all and minister to you by His grace........in Jesus
"Little children keep your selves from idols" (I John 5:21)
"Building yourselves up on your most holy faith"...(Jude 20: Rom 10:17)
"Keep yourselves in the love of God..." (by obedience to his word) Jude 21)
"Put on the whole armour of God..." (equipment to beat satan) (Eph. 6:11)
The scripture is very clear here: "Resist the devil and he will flee..."James 4 :7
Christian maturity is not a weekend operation. On the other hand remember there is no finality to the christian life this side of eternity.
While we are in the flesh we "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 3:14)
We often hear about 'weight watchers'
O that we watched our spiritual growth as carefully.
