What do i say to her?

I have a friend that insists on being a strong Pagan and her belief is based on logic. I have no idea how to even go about debating with her because I cannot see any flaws in her beliefs. I am 100% strong in my christian faith but I fail to answer her questions. She doesnt believe that christianity is the way partly through how Jesus speaks. She says he speaks down to Pagans by saying various times that we shouldn't act like the 'evil pagans' and she considers this a far from loving view.

2 books I can recommend are The Case for Christ and The Case for a Creator, both by Lee Strobel. I haven't read the Creator one yet, but the other one makes a great case for the reliability of the gospels.

As far as her not seeing Jesus' reference to nonbelievers as "evil pagans" being loving: He's calling them as he sees them. You know what I mean? God had given rules and instructions on how to live. Those that chose not to follow, were evil and pagan. You also have to understand that the meaning of that phrase may have meant something a little different at the time it was said.

I'm trying to think of an analogy. . . How about an alcoholic. Is it unloving to call someone that if they don't think they are an alcoholic? Some alcoholics would be offended to be called that, because they're in denial. So, just because someone doesn't like a term to be used toward them, doesn't mean it doesn't fit. And it doesn't meant that the person saying it is unloving. Maybe they are so loving they won't let the person go on thinking they're okay.

Does that make sense?

Maybe you can't say anything to her for some time. Maybe you just have to live your life as an example. Sometimes that says way more than words ever could.

First, you've gotta pray for her. God has to draw her to Himself (John 6:44). He loves her more than you do, trust that. He's got demons to dislodge and a heart to soften before she can accept the truth. Speed this up by praying for her daily.

You may or may not see progress overnight, but I have heard testimony from an older man in the Lord how persistent prayer pays off. He told us about people he met overseas who were not going to accept the Gospel at all, but he prayed for them and didn't stop. After about seven years of this, he gets a call from the very same people who want to learn about the Bible now but they need a Christian to teach them! So don't give up.

I have a brother that claims to be a Wiccan witch, and is studying the evil craft. I feel great pain for him, as he was such a strong Christian for many years of his life, and then he went goth and started saying that Christianity is against his people. To say it simple: Jesus did call those that sinned against Hist Father, the Almight God, evil. This is what they are, and for those that do not repent their sins to God and accept Christ in their lives will go to Hell for their actions. This is said in the Bible. Your friend chooses to be on the evil side, and she will find the Bible and God quite against her, and you shouldn't let her think that it says anything to the contrary. Tell her what the Bible says about Christ dying for her sins. Tell her that in accepting Him in her life, she will be saved from an eternity in Hell. Tell her the truth, and don't sugar-coat it.

Along with all of that don't forget that actions speak louder than words. I don't think anyone has ever been argued into having faith. Some people are cradle Christians, and some people ruin their lives and only then become humble enough to see the Power. Live the life and let God do His thing. He shows us all what the Truth is at some point in our lives. First He tries the breeze, then the wind, then the storm, then the hurricane. Pray for her that she sees before the hurricane comes.
