I don't know that I have things I dislike about non-Christians. Because "non-Christians" aren't a monolithic group of people. And if one were to ask about more specific groups--atheists, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc--I'm sure my answer would be the same.

I don't care much for generalizing entire groups of people, I'd much rather deal with people on an individual basis. If someone is nice, then they're nice; if someone is a jerk, then they're a jerk. I've met nice people of all faiths and no faith; I've met jerks of all faiths and no faith.

I dislike being stereotyped, so I don't see why I should stereotype others. I'll get along with anyone who is a generally decent person, regardless of what they do or do not believe.

I'm perfectly capable of playing video games and drinking beers with my closest friends--none of whom are Christians.

Probably the overarching thing I dislike - and I find it among Christians as much as anyone - is that generally most people do not critically think about what they believe, and why they believe it. If I or someone else asks them a question, they are not willing to say, "Well, you know, I never thought of that before", or "Actually, I don't know now that I think about it".

That said, I also suffer from this. Though, I feel I am a person who thinks critically more often than most people. But I can always improve. And, let's face it, I still do a lot of stupid things that are irrational.

Some non-Christians are very likeable. Those would be the ones who don't have a problem with Christianity, and aren't out to argue about what we believe, or try to change our minds about the things that are important to us.
I get quite peeved, for instance when someone figures the only reason I am pro-life is because I am a Christian. I am pro-life because I care about the slaughter of helpless infants.
Non-Christians who try to make me feel inferior to them, or who are constantly wanting to argue are not quite so likeable. Most of the ones I've met online seem to be of this type.

This is a little piece I wrote about my experiences with non-Christians. Maybe it will help you understand a bit about what I mean:

When they find that I'm a Christian
Some people want to mock
Why does Christianity
Give them such a shock

When I speak about my faith
It seems that no one cares
They merely shrug and turn away
I'm met with empty stares

If I bow my head to pray
Some people point and jeer
Why should such a simple thing
Inspire in them such fear

Like an angry mob with pitchforks
They howl and they accuse
What have I done, what was my fault
To merit this abuse

It has been two thousand years
Since the mob screamed "CRUCIFY"!!
He came to them with perfect love
They sent Him out to die

It is just as He warned us
And His words have proven true
"You see, My child, they hated Me...
And now, they will hate you"

I eat this sort of belligerent for breakfast.

That sums it up pretty well.

Just their unwillingness to believe. Unless they're willing to find out for themselves, they will never know. If you seek Him diligently, He "will" reveal Himself.

God is like a treasure waiting to be found.

Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV)
I love those who love me,
And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (NKJV)
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

It varies greatly. I personally don't appreciate being told 'there is no evidence for a personal theistic Creator' by a Secular Humanist upon eventually finding out that the Person hasn't considered the vast evidence / doesn't want to because they don't want to have to change their lifestyles / and-or wouldn't move closer to God even if the truth were put before their eyes and Mind. What I would appreciate is what my professed 'Atheist' acquaintance said to me a few months ago which was : ' Look...I just want to be my own god and live as I like' . THAT, I can appreciate because she didn't play any charade and was quite honest , albeit a shame.

I don't have any problem with non-Christians. They have a different view on things, but so long as they advocate peaceful coexistence and don't want to impose their perceptions on me, there's no problem.

Ultimately, I believe many ways will lead to the LORD. So long as they keep the two commandments, which are to love your neighbor (compassion) and to love the LORD (humility).

Just because a person is a non Christian, doesn't mean they don't believe in a creator or God as some posts seem to assume.

According to the Bible , EVERYONE believes in a personal Creator because it is too obvious by the effects that there is one and absolutely without exception , requires one. People who profess atheism are really professing that they don't care to acknowledge the Creator for any number of personal ulterior motives. This is what the Bible declares and it is what I know is true also . They are allowed their freewill choice and its their freewill choice that I respect even though its all just one big charade.---- something I played too for about 10 adult years.

I'm not really concerned what the bible says anymore but I agree with you that the evidence of a creator is everywhere. :)

We should all be concerned with what the Bible says since its never been wrong on ANY subject or issue / modern science is confirming it correct all the time / and we will be judged according to it concerning out next (eternal) residence.

If the Bible isn't your ultimate truthsource, may I ask what is ?

Creation, nature, the universe. I remember seeing a baby in the womb on an ultrasound and thinking that there showed me more about God then I ever learned in my 12-15 or so years of studying the Bible.

Your grossly limiting yourself if you just stick with the meta-physical which glorifies God ; learning about God intimately primarily comes in the form of reading the written revelation of himself which he personally inspired for all of mankind (Gods Word, the Bible) / studying about the person, life, and mission of Jesus Christ his Son sent to save from Sins (outlined in the Bible) / and drastic inward change of Ones Soul by the supernatural transforming power of getting Gods Word into us which The Holy Spirit of God is responsible for.

Has the Bible become a non important, boring, uninteresting Instrument to you ? I hope this isn't the case.

Trying to do the Christian Life without the Bible is like a Mountain Climber not taking along any rope and spikes to trust his life with ; he might be able to do it but eventually a fall is coming .

I don't judge them on the basis of them being Christian or not. I judge them on the basis of whether they are civilised human beings or amongst the growing numbers who behave like animals.
