  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Could anyone explain what Moses meant in 18.

Isn't that what we label today as sex slavery, which is rampant in Asia today and which we look down upon as it is abhorant to God.

Or have I misunderstood the meaning.

13 Moses, Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp. 14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army—the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds—who returned from the battle.
15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the LORD in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the LORD’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

Amen now faith:
And we also have to look at the history of culture in regards to things like this:
God also told the isrealites to whipe out the amilikites: Every woman child man beast and so on: Was it unfair; or did God show them mercy; being that God gave them ample time to change; they were a wicked nation for four hundred years: And then judgement came: Gods Will; Grace is alawys given; its up to man to respond to that grace; fear; God and change: Blessings
