Sorry. Judaism as practiced isn't Christianity. There's no Jesus in Judaism. Jesus is indeed the Messiah of the Jews and the whole world, Who is rejected for various reasons.
If you submit to the law for any reason you're submitting to being justified by the law and Jesus is of no effect for you. There's nothing in the NT requiring the keeping of the law for its participants.

Where did you say it wasn't being obedient to God? Where does what you post claim obligation to the law?That is taking one piece of the message and forming a doctrine but what about the beginning of the message in the beginning of the same chapter? Does this not teach that obedience is necessary to being a child of God before continuing on to verse 23?

Christianity is the proper understanding of Judaism. Judaism is the foretelling of Christianity.
What I read you saying is one can't have salvation without being in compliance with the law (old covenant). I can't find anything in the NT indicating this.You seem to think that we obey God to receive salvation instead of because we honor and love Him. Can you say you truly love God if you disregard His commandments?
