Yeah im plan on becoming a teacher
I love to study God word anyways but if you are attending this college you have to take those classes.
We have 3 field experiences that we have to do to become a teacher. 10 weeks each semester for one hour a week. I just got finish with one set of them this semester. It is interesting to watch the teachers. The first set of 10 you do all you are is suppose to observe and you do more with each set you take.
I took two years of spanish when i was in high school but i dont remember it. I have been out of school too long lol. Since im doing elementary education we have to take 12 credits of math, english, science, social studies, so that is one reason why im taking college algerbra this next semester, this semester i took math survery- a little bit of algerbra, and some critical thinking involved.

awesome. I love singing but for fun. You must be multi-talented in order to play the keyboard, drums, and sing. I want to learn how to play the guitar. I played the clarinet in sixth grade. That was not my one of my talents. The music instructor gave me speech that 'not all people are ment to play music and that I needed to find my talents elsewhere.' I have a passion for music, I love the way it makes me feel. I recorded my first song and I thought it was good for someone who never took singing lessons
haha...yeah, i don't know if multi-talented is the word to use for me. i can barely play keyboard, and i think i can sing ok (yet to be verified). drumming is my passion. i have to take those other classes cause it's required for the music major.

i can see where your music teacher is coming from. not that you're not musically talented, but it was probably best that you didn't play an instrument that you probably wouldn't have liked. i say stick to singing if that's what you love. you know, you should post your song on here so we can hear it. that'd be sweet...

man, after hearing all these other classes for other majors, i'm glad i decided to major in music. sociolinguistics? programming in C++? i'll stick to "aimlessly" beating on drums...;)

I'll be taking Introduction to Multimedia (Dreamweaver, Flash etc.) and one more communication course l. I'm a visual comm major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I don't know how many units I'll be taking yet as I'm working full-time and it has been an exhausting Fall for me (6 units plus full-time job). :O Hey, Bokhard, my friend is a Concordia alumni. He loved it there!

That is cool that this is your last semester as a college student  You are not in a religion major and you still have time to take all those electives? Film, tv production sounds like a fun major but still alot of work. Are you going to be a director or producer? How do you find time to have a major and a minor and finish college at such a young age? LOL. I complained when I had to take four classes this semester.

During the Spring Term:
Baptist History
Theology I
Theology III
Life of Christ
Evangelism to Cults and World Religions
Cross-Cultural Missions and Evangelism
That sounds like a great schedule to learn more about Christianity ;) I want to take World religions at my school. I think it would interesting to learn about other religions  Are you called to be a missionary? I think that is great that you are serving God and following his call for your life. I wouldn't mind taking that schedule. Very interesting classes that you chose. Have fun this year, learning God's word at school. What college are you going to? God bless and have a great day!

Two of those classes fulfill what's called "core" (my college is a liberal arts college so we study a wide variety of fields). thankfully, I can take courses in religion to fulfill that! I am blessed. I didn't even think I would graduate on time.

A Communications major (the true name of my BA degree) is fun. I like getting experience in film production. Some of it is tedious, but then I love hands-on work I get to do once in a while. My Comm major is mostly classes on theory, argumentation, public speaking, and the other areas of communication. I've had to go outside of college to get some of my film experience.

and thank you so much for asking! You're really involved in this thread and that's awesome.

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about the professors I'll have next semester, and the content of the courses. I am called to be a missionary. The current plan is to be a missionary to the women of Islam, in restricted Islamic countries. I go to Boyce College of the Bible. It's an undergrad school of Southern Baptist Seminary.

Thanks for your support! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and that you've had a great first semester at college!

Wow those are alot of classes  Yes, I don't think taking so many general ed classes will be fun. I took general ed classes this year because I need those courses to transfer to a 4 year university :p What will you be studying in spiritual formation class? sounds interesting but I never heard of a class like that. You are going to be busy, hopefully you won't have to work this coming semester. I wish you the best and I admire you for taking so many courses
