God of the gaps is not a reason to believe something. It's intellectual laziness.
Every mystery we've faced turned out to have a natural explanation. The answer has never been "God did it". Why do you think the beginning of the universe would be any different?

I think the problem lies in the fact atheists don't like to get into the "reasonable" or "common sense" aspect of things...those terms mess with their ridiculous agenda. But, yeah, trying to redefine terms might work for awhile but people are starting to catch on to even that.

There is no need to make up a fantasmagorical far fetched being because there is a perfecty good explanation for everything, no magic or miracles required.
