Bake them inside of biscuits.
Make biscuits according to the Bisquick recipe. Roll out the dough, or pat out the dough into rectangles. put the hotdog in the middle, add some cheese if you like. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden. mmmmm

A co-worker of mine makes corndog casserole. Make cornbread (you can use a box mix)then add chopped hot dogs, onion & cheese. Bake & enjoy. Good with chili. I like to just chop hot dogs into my chili & add CheezWhiz--like a chili dog in a bowl.

Really, if it tastes good and doesn't harm you... It's perfectly fine, right?

Some people like to use a straw to take the centre out of the hotdog, put cheese in the centre, and then microwave it for less than 30 seconds. Not exactly heart-healthy, but I hear it's really good.

My all time FAVORITE hotdog is a Francheezie- usually you can get them from diner/ mom and pop/type restaurants- A large hotdog, sliced not all the way through, cheese stuffed in the crack, wrapped in bacon, and then deep fried. Placed on a grilled bun. Top with a little yellow mustard. (Moonpye, don't fall over ;) )

This was so rude. The op didnt ask for your opinion about hot dogs he/she asked for what can be done with them- if you have nothing to add to that conversation you shouldnt post. I can't believe your insensitivity. Has it ever occured to you that hot dogs may be one of the only sources of protein that some people can afford?
Add to that you didnt even stop there- you seem to be waiting for anyone to post something about hot dogs so you can pounce on it. Instead of derailing this thread why dont you open a "Hate of hot dogs" thread of your own.
Just because you hate hot dogs doesn't mean other people do or should. Who made you America's food cop?

I only use turkey hot dogs and sometimes I sautee onions and peppers add a little spaghetti sauce to it and then add already cooked hot dogs that have been cut into pieces. It's good with mashed potatoes, boiled green bananas or spaghetti.
Oh now that sounds really good!! :yum: iv'e never tried those kind before, i love turkey anything, especially turkey burgers!!
