This is a couple of years ago. My mom had an attempted break in when she was at the hospital. Even though there are surveillance cameras in front of the apartment building and inside by the stairs, the police said that no one came into the the stairs that did not belong. So by simple deduction it's someone that lives there, and yet the police closed the case. My mom's dog was home alone, thank God she was not hurt or stolen. But still my mom to this day does not leave her apartment unless there is one home to take care of her dog. So if she has a doctor's apointment or any other apointment, I am there taking care of her dog. When she is out walking her dog she does not care about the apartment because it's dead things. So it's all about the dogs safety for my mom.

My mom thought about moving. But why should my mom have an expense because these people don't know how to behave in a civil manner. My mom is not wealthy by any means and the rent she has is very affordable and all the other apartments that's up for rent are newer and therefore also cost alot more. In some cases 3 times as much as the apartment my mom has now.

They are still harassing my mom after nearly four years. She has come to the point where she is considering going to the media. But she does not know if that is the right thing to do. All she realy wants is to live a peaceful life.

My question is what more can I do to get rid of this enemy?

Can I hand over my mom's bane and harraser to Satan?

It is probably an older building with wooden or pergo floors and no carpet. Newer buildings have concrete floors and less noise. One way out is to move to another apartment, or put up with the noise. It is also bad near an airport, major highway or railroad tracks.

Wow. That's a LOT to unpack.

I'd first like to ask if she's taking a cell phone and recorded the disturbances? A few good recordings from different locations in her apartment, the hallway, etc. can quickly show that the tenants above are not being entirely honest by saying they aren't making noise. Getting a few recordings on a few different days should adequately prove your mother's case.

Now, I want to discuss imprecatory prayer. Such prayers are seen throughout the Psalms, Gospels, and Epistles with saints of God praying that God arise and smite their enemies, etc. They are even found in the book of Revelation, so yes, they are for today.

However, a deeper look at imprecatory prayer reveals that it isn't about vengeance or getting even. It is typically about justice and the relief of oppression or abuse at the hands of persecutors or abusers. Maybe this is at a level of serious abuse towards your mother. But you'll notice that the goal of imprecatory prayer is that God bring peace between all parties involved and even save their souls if at all possible... before God arise and shatter their teeth or drag them upon the hills of Zion. Also remember, imprecatory prayer is highly symbolic. God may not literally shatter their teeth... but He might throw them into a trial to correct their behavior nonetheless. Ultimately, imprecatory prayer has to be to cease the abuse and must have a deep love for the enemy and desire for their salvation and reconciliation. It's never wise to pray such prayers while angry. Remember, the measure with which we judge is the measure God demands we must meet. So, such a spirit of vengeful imprecatory prayer could actually bring God's correction... upon you. So, beware. Make sure your heart is absolutely right when engaging in this level of warfare. You must want what is best for all parties involved. Not just God's punishment or your own vindication.

Typically such prayers are seen under persecution, during war, etc. Tread lightly. But yes... PRAY.

I don't think the sword is for cutting fruit.

Politicians, police, the authority in my country is weak and unrightous.

I am the authority no one is above me but God. I will pick up that sword! I will be God's servant!

Romans 13:1-5
Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

There is such a thing as leaving room for God's wrath, if kindness is not your natural inclination. (Romans 12:19-20, see also Romans 12:18)

Sadly, not everyone has the resources to simply move. Not only must you typically put down money for first months rent and deposit, but you also have to transfer utilities, this requires being all paid up, and then there is the expense of hiring movers to help you move your things if you're not a young buck who can move it all yourself.

I vote she records the disturbance and take it to the office. If they still won't help her, turn to the media with the video for all to see.

Don't make any deals with Satan. But regardless, it is not yours to do, but God's.

At this point, I would go about collecting evidence.

Could try earplugs and/or a white noise generator. Maybe even look into sound proofing.

But since someone's tried to break in once, frankly I'd recommend moving entirely if that's an option.

My mom has endured 4 years of this.

There has been no incident before they moved in above my mom. She has been living there for 40 years, but the last 4 years have been horrible.

The building is made of concrete. with wooden floors on top. New apartments cost 2-3 times at much, my mom can not afford it.

Your mother may stay there. It is difficult to move when you are old.

I bought my first condo in 2001. It was in a high rise with concrete floors in a high crime area with the occasional sound of gunfire on a summer Saturday night. On 9-11 Al Qaeda terrorists flew a jet plane into the Pentagon a few miles from my home. My car was vandalized more than once. I was robbed by a gang of youths while walking to buy a Sunday paper. One of the community residents died after being attacked by a gang of juvenile thieves after he refused to give them money. I moved to an older red brick building in the suburbs where there was little crime. It had wooden floors above the ground floor. The owner of the unit above me put pergo on the wood floor. The children above me made too much noise dropping or throwing things. I did not file a complaint. I moved from there after five years. Six years ago I bought a manufactured home in a gated 55+ community. It went up in value. A year ago I bought a vacant lot as an investment. It has risen in value. I am supposed to be thankful and not complain too much. Others have to endure worse conditions than I.

What they are doing is evil;

She can love the evil (bake them a cake every day anonymously and leave it on their doorstep until the decide to be nice to her, but this might also turn into casting pearls before swine and she might find it rejected)

Resist the evil (take them to court, media, complaints, in which case they will lie and fight it and make her as miserable as they can while doing so, possibly the cakes are full of laxatives in this case)

"I say to you, do not resist an evil person" Matthew 5:39

Or leave the evil (inconvenient, unfair and unfortunate, but often the best choice and leading to a better peace) "shake the dust off your feet"

I'd strongly consider 1 or 3. I doubt 2 is going to do much more than encourage them to escalate. And an elderly woman is going to get the worse of it in a war of escalation, as she has already seen.
