  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What camera do you own?

I love photography! I just bought an Olympus Camedia E10. It's a 4MP digital camera and I love it! I also use a VERY old 35mm camera with a Vivitar macro lens. I really enjoy doing macro shots of flowers, etc. ;)
Canon G1....looking at G3 , but not willing to step up yet

My dig is so old it is not even in megapixels. It was free so I am not complaining. :D I need to get a new one.

My cam is a Canon EOS Rebel G with the standard 35-80mm lens and I have an 80-200 mm lens as well. I love to photograph. Old houses and barns pratically scream at me, those and macro nature. :)

How do you like that 80-200mm lens? Got any shots to show from it?
I love macro shots too. There is a thread open for macro shots if you want to join us in there. I would love to see some of your shots.

Old Faithful is a Pentax MX ... a 1976 35mm slr with built in exposure meter, but no automatic features. Lenses are 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.7, Tamron 75-300 f4.5, a 3x teleconverter, and a set of closeup lenses.

I also have a brand new Canon Digital Rebel with the 18-55 f5.6 and a Quantaray 70-300 f5.6.
