Got a new book called "What would Jesus Ask?" written by a counselor here in Nebraska. I went to go talk to him earlier this week about some college related things. He's a great guy. The book is really good, it's studying how Jesus asks very specific questions for very specific purposes, and drawing people to discover the truth for themselves.

How is Paradise Lost? I just added it to my list today

Having attempted to get through Paradise Lost by John Milton twice in high school (and always ending on Book 6), it's tough because it's this massive poem about Lucifer's fall from God's grace. "Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven" is probably the most famous line from Paradise Lost. Honestly, if you're looking for something more fun to read, I suggest the play, Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand (Anthony Burgess translation). It's a delightfully fun read about a big-nosed poet who loves the beautiful Roxanne.

I think if you're going to read it you should have an annotated copy so you can understand all the allusions of the poem and how Milton is utilizing them. The poem can seem intimidating because its meter doesn't change and you just get pages of uninterrupted text, but if you're patient with it, it can be very enjoyable.
