Are those books worth reading? I've seen them around and been interested but never really enough to pick one up. But I just finished a dismal "Culture" space book by Ian Banks and I need something to cleanse my pallate.

This is the first book that I've read by him, and I'm only on the first chapter. So far so good, but I haven't gotten far enough to say whether I'd recommend it or not.

Nomad by Ayaan Hirsi Ali , I read her first book Infidel ,and I enjoyed it . I like her books, she been through so much .
