I just finished working my way through Samuel...I'm a big OT fan.

But I just got a new book....each day gives you a differebnt hitorical Christian and what they did to change the world on that day....very interesting reading...I actally catch myself doing more then one day at a time.

I'm also a daily bread fan

I am reading through the New Testament. What i'm doing is this: break each longer book down into 6, 7, or 8 chapters; each of the shorter books stands alone; I read one of these sections every day for a week; then, I go to the next.

Like this
Wk 1 Matt 1-7
Wk 2 Matt 8-14
Wk 3 Matt 15-21
Wk 4 Matt 22-28
Wk 5 Mark 1-8
etc
I also include one chapter from Psalms and one from Proverbs. So after about 8-9 months I will have read the NT 7 times, Psalms about twice, and Proverbs 8-9 times. I'm really becoming more and more familiar with what is where, if you know what I mean. I also use several different versions to avoid any possible monotony.
