There's a love....that should not be hid away.

There's a light....that needs to be carried humbly to the darkness.

There's Jesus, and He desires us to be His hands, His feet, and to minister to the least of these. When we do this, we have done this unto Him, our Master!

The Lord's call to ministry was irresistible. I suppose you could say that the desire to obey (although I confess it was reluctant obedience for awhile) is what attracted me most to ministry.

It's not just a career, it's a vocation, a calling. When I accepted the call to ministry I accepted that my life's direction would be determined by the service I could offer the Lord and his people. Whatever form my ministry takes in years to come, obedience to God's call will always be the driving force in my life.

For me it is the love of God. The love that cannot wait to be expressed. The love that shines brighter than all despair. The love that God wants us to bring to others.

It's a difficult thing to put into words, isn't it? I mean, fully? I can come up with a good description, but somehow nothing I can say can sum up how important my calling is to me.

well, i understand a calling is important. especially if G-d has led u a long way since the call.

Right. I guess what I mean is that it can be hard to put something like that into words, you know? I mean, we can describe it, but somehow there is always something of the Lord which is beyond our ability to describe.
