I'm tired of arguing.
It's like we can't agree on anything! I feel sorry for the new Christians who follow some of our threads while we are becoming so un-Christ like in our behavior to one another.
LOL!
I actually encourage the "heathen" unbelievers to also come visit and browse this board
Poor them.

That we can't take Scripture seriously, that we are made to feel bad if we are Creationist and Conservatives
There's a great example. Is this forum really for Christians or just to brow beat us

Not quite understanding the point. If we're Christians and we're coming together, you would think that our love for God and the teachings of the Scriptures would be one of the things we would actually want to talk about. Look around in this forum....which is the most active?
Let me make this easy, take away the Scriptures....what then do we talk about in the General Theology board?
I was afraid to use a protestant faith icon as that my imply I was anti-Catholic.that's the problem there . there's a bigotry involved with the world "christian" which implies protestant . there are many kinds of Christians .
i did ask for another board for Christian Seekers, but this is basically the point of least resistance .
Iknow this may sound silly and probably asking for troubles... but as this question is quite complex, specially surronding the baptism, how would one best answer this question? Is there a good article somewhere that explains this topic in full? I just don't want to give the wrong impression when answering this question.
Scott hahn explains the following in one of his books "Catholic For A Reason" (Emmaus Road, 1998).
"SALVATION AND THE CHURCH...By establishing the New Covenant, Christ founded ONE Church -- through His own resurrected body -- as an extension of His Incarnation and the Trinity's life. The Catholic Church is the universal Family of God, OUTSIDE OF WHICH THERE IS NO SALVATION. This teaching does not condemn anyone. Rather, it simply clarifies the essential meaning of salvation and the Church. Since the essence of salvation is the life of divine sonship, to speak of salvation outside of God's family, the Church, is to confuse things greatly -- since being OUTSIDE God's family is precisely what we need to be saved from."
thanks

Are Protestants Christians?
That is the faith icon we require to join this group nowYeah it suits me too .
Yeah. I have a big fat H branded on me forehead and I carry around a broken sword....drum roll please...
The most active - I think GT is, lots of debate. Though I see many atheist, agnostics and liberals that can't stand Scripture and morals really I think those groups can ruin a place like this. Not quite understanding the point.
