  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Sixteen Candles
Breakfast Club
Pretty in Pink - Still #1 for me.
St. Elmo's Fire - I wanted the Billy Idol Wallpaper w/the neon earring SO bad!
About Last Night - Pretty risque, but a good love story, nonetheless. Demi Moore's roomate (Elizabeth Perkins) steals the whole movie with her smart-as-a-whip liners. My favorite little scene is when she is reading to her Kindergarten class at Christmas:

Perkins: "And then an Angel of the Lord descended upon the Virgin Mary..."
Child interrupts: "-What's descending?"
Perkins: "Comes down from the sky" and tries to continue reading...
Another child interrupts: "What's a virgin?"
Perkins: "Someone who's never had sex".
Child: "What's sex?"
Perkins: "Something people do to make babies".
Child: "Do you have a baby?"
Perkins: "No."
Child: "Do you have sex?"
Perkins: "Um, well, sometimes two people in love who don't want a baby, still have sex". (Getting clearly annoyed).
Child: "What for?"
Perkins (losing her patience): "FOR ABOUT 10 OR 15 MINUTES! Ahem, then the Angel of the Lord...." ^_^
