CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I used to do paint by number sets a long time ago. That's not my thing.
I love looking at the mountains. I wish Illinois would have some around me. All I have are tall buildings. Their not much to look at.

I'm now trying the third pattern for a wedding gift for a nephew. The first runner looked ugly, the second (placemats) -- BO--RIING. The third one is a smaller runner than the first but working up nicer.
I have also been having fun with my new stereo. It has a CD writer so I can copy old lps and cassettes to CD. Pretty neat!

I'm working on this, which will match the blanket I made earlier for my pregnant friend. I'm almost done the hat. I'll take a pic of all three when I'm done with the sweater...if it turns out ok

A freind noticed the samll pouch I have on my Bible and wanted to see what was in it. She was so taken with the Anglican rosary it contains that I came home and made her a rosary and pouch of her own.
Still working on the runner for the wedding, but got tired of just threadwork, so I started a blanket -- filet style in Simply Soft.
