CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thank you Kittystorm92 for doing that for me. Thanks everyone that like them. I have a lot of relaxation doing them. After everyone is in bed at night I stay up till 1am and work on them while I watch my soaps from the daytime.

Really love the candles. Simple yet sophisticated. Not only that but I collect antiques ~ it would be a great way to show off some of the antique dishes especially those custard cups that I rarely ever use!

This is one of the dresses I finished for Bird. The others had to wait so I could finish the layette I was making for a baby shower Sunday. I changed my mind on the binding and finished the whole snuggler with a stitch instead but I don't have a pic of the finished blanket.

wow! i just noticed this forum!!! i like seeing what others have made. Here is a bag that i made for my niece for Christmas. It wasn't as finished as i wanted it to be, but she was very eager to get it! I didn't get to really press it nicely or put the buttons on the pocket. In the first pic i also made the Christmas card in the corner. Excuse the mess in the 2nd pic

wow! i just noticed this forum!!! i like seeing what others have made. Here is a bag that i made for my niece for Christmas. It wasn't as finished as i wanted it to be, but she was very eager to get it! I didn't get to really press it nicely or put the buttons on the pocket. I love that bag...it's gorgeous!! I just bought a couple patterns at Hancock Fabrics' 50% off sale and I can't wait to start on them. I have yet to finish my daughter's dress.

i'm in a weekend quilt-a-thon this weekend. some of us got together online and decided we just needed to block out a bunch of time for ourselves to get in our sewing rooms and get some piecing and quilting done and use up some of our stash.
I've gotten 5 of 8 blocks made today for my wall hanging that i'm working on, and hope to finish the top sometime tomorrow.
Got word today that my new quilting stencils are on the way (finally!). It's a good thing, because i have several tops waiting to be quilted with the stencils that are in the mail.
