  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My girlfriend and her parents love NCIS and convinced me to start watching it, starting with the first season, on Netflix.

They figured I would be a huge fan since I was in the military and in law enforcement, but I never watched it before as I was too busy raising kids when it first came out.

But I am enjoying it; brings back a lot of memories from my military days.

Girlfriend and I are currently watching Stranger Things together. I binge watched the first two seasons, but she hadn't seen any of them.

I got a great deal on all the current Mission:Impossible movies, so I bought the set, but my computer won't play it because they're the wrong region code! I have a DVD player that plays the correct region code, just no TV to go with it. Alas.

Sorry to hear, that sucks. Maybe you could find a really cheapo t.v. or go online (like Kijiji) and see if someone's giving theirs for free. You can put up an "asking" ad and I'd be surprised if nobody responds.
