You may remember Skrillex from the early 2010’s making huge waves in the electronic music scene. He’s been on a relative hiatus for the past several years but he just dropped two albums back to back last month and one of them is fantastic while the other feels like a more indulgent, “just messing around with my friends” type of production. They’re called Quest for Fire and Don’t Leave Me Like This, respectively. I’ve had QFF in heavy rotation lately.

A great oldie from 1962. Solomon Burke was one of the early R & B/Soul recording artists. He died more than 10 years at age 70. He was also a pastor of an L.A. church. "Cry To Me" is his best known song:

Been listening to Gilbert Gottfried apparencies on Howard Stern. Still sad about Gilbert's death. It's almost been a year now I think. Was listening to one of his podcasts that released a few months before his death. Sad to see talent like that just vanish into the void.
