My father told me that ABBA was one of the first pop bands that helped deteriorate the soul of popular music during the 1970s. While I can somewhat understand what he's saying... I still love ABBA songs. More mechanical music has its own unique charms.

Maybe? The later 70s does seem like a magical time.

Steven Spielberg, George Lucas blockbuster films were becoming a thing, heavy metal was getting heavier... lol. I like the thick hair of the time too.

I did not think of that, time passes so quickly ,when looking back.

Every Christmas season I uncork the Messiah by Academy & Chorus of St Martin In The Fields. From the opening lines you can tell they came to crack heads.

After hearing about the tragic case of Junko Furuta, I've found myself more interested in 1980s Japanese culture.

This song is nice... kind of reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog game series.
