Though Petula Clark recorded it too, the text/lyrics are I think pathetic.
In the English recording the lyrics are different
While Lolita sings accepting that being at sea is a calling.
English version is more boohoo stuff, where the singer pleads for the seaman to leave the sea. Mucho blaha.
