Loved blasting this song when it came on GTA 5 radio.

I watch that every October. That movie creeps me out to no end. While I do get annoyed and think Stanley Kubrick sometimes puts gibberish into his films in a cheap attempt to trick others into thinking his films are deeper than they are.. The Shining still had a pretty eerie and unforgettable atmosphere throughout.. and the soundtrack certainly helped.
I was sorting through my albums to set up the new office/mancave/musicroom and found that I had two copies of that album. I bought about 850 albums at estate sales 12 years ago and that one is from that stack. Any way, I did my standard deep cleaning with a lowe's paint trimmer brush, shampoo and tap water and played to see which one I should keep. Both were like new, so I kept them both. But one is in the pile of stuff I play on my reconditioned console stereo. It's in this picture of the mancave in progress.Loved blasting this song when it came on GTA 5 radio.
Listening to this now. A classic, and on a pre-recorded cassette no less. Who knew it could sound this good.
It's what made "jazz" mainstream at that time. It's the only one I knew of until I picked up this album in the 70's when it was first released. It was him and his sons. It's the only one I know of Dave Brubeck,
much the same with Glen Miller and "In the mood".

That sounded very nice. I enjoy listening to that sort of stuff on the old 60's console, the way it was meant to be listened to.
This one will always remind me of Chris Barber,
it was very popular in it's day.
Well, The electrician just finished up the shop section so I'm now working on the walls in this room. here is the building from the outside just before the garage doors and french doors were installed:That looks nice.
