Boy he butchered that. Under the influence? *shrug*
I wonder if in the second half of the song he forgot his own lyrics, and just started mumbling random sounds. :D

You know, I have read a lot about Bob Dylan. Maybe he just thought he did not need to exert the effort. I honestly think if he did a number 2 on stage he would have gotten a standing ovation and it would have been considered genius expecting it to be preserved as an art installation on a museum tour.

Posting this to help out our friend Dmytro here, whoever he is. I've never come across a video which literally had zero views. And his channel's got 2 subscribers, which I assume would be him and maybe his brother. Not great music, but I've certainly heard worse.

Meanwhile, many artists top the charts despite having questionable talent. Between the bots, algorithms, fake watches and views that can be purchased, hacking systems to mess with the numbers, and now AI generated content, online metrics only tell so much.

That said, it looks like this guy only registered in September. Getting traction can be hard without a lot of promotion. That's probably what's happening here. I like it when new artists and content creators are noticed.

I stumbled across this today. Oh man it's funny. All these famous musicians and singers dressed in their nice clothes, and Dylan does this. ^_^ At one point the backup singers are looking at him like "what is he doing"? You should listen to the whole song. The longer he sings the worse it gets. If you listen carefully there are actually a few intelligible words in there. And at the end it looks like he gets a standing ovation for mumbling incoherently, lol. Fun stuff.

He does sound like a bad Bob Dylan impression. ^_^

ETA: God bless him.

He is well known for holding his audience in contempt, and just not caring. He has slopped up many, many performances. I remember seeing a late '60's documentary where he says something to the effect that "I don't care about my fans. Some guy I've never met walks up to me and I'm supposed to pretend I like him?" Frank Black from the Pixies has said pretty much the same thing. I guess they deserve some credit for being honest? I don't know.

Agreed, but don't go giving him any ideas.

Well he has laid many number 2’s on stage. Just not literally at this point but who knows? People drool over him because they consider him a musical status symbol. Don’t get me wrong. I do like some of his work but his ego really ruins it for me. It’s best to be honest about it and not cling to the artist image and what some think it does for their image. I have noticed a lot of people finding their credentials through what they claim to like. The problem is most people don’t like a lot of their picks. They are just putting forth an image. An effort to establish their musical street cred. But many see through it. There is maybe 2 or 3 songs I genuinely like from Dylan. The rest sounds like nails scratching a chalkboard to me.

Yeah, being honest is good, but I also think it's bad service. Do I want to be treated with contempt while ordering fries at McDonald's? Do I want to be treated with contempt while paying Bob Dylan to play? Some things aren't all that different.

This little ditty of his goes well by a warm fire with a full belly.

Life is a waterfall
We're one in the river
And one again after the fall

Swimming through the void
We hear the word
We lose ourselves but we find it all

Because we are the ones that wanna play
Always wanna go
But you never wanna stay

And we are the ones that wanna choose
Always wanna play
But you never wanna lose

Winter solstice is upon us. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

The devil is never a maker.
The less that you give, you're a taker.
