For those of you who are cuurently trying to conceieve, are you doing anythng different/extra to help your chances.....

Me: Prayer! Also, I am taking my Flinstones vitaimins every day. I eat foods that have folic acid in them, I am trying to cut down on coke/caffeine and drink more water and I am going to start drinking one cup of green tea a day, Next month I have a doctors appointment and I will talk to the doctor about fertility drugs since it may be harder for me to get pregnant, I also use a pillow to elevate my hips and I have been charting my cylces and trying to figure out when I'm ovulating by using: http://www.mymonthlycycles.com

Just curious what others are doing if anything extra?

We are having sex, relaxing, and seeing what happens.... heehee.... that's not much help is it.... oh and I am also charting using www.fertilityfriend.com, this is my first month, I'm not thinking its going to be accurate this month because I have now missed taking my temperature 5 times.... lol. Its good practice though because we want to use Natural Family Planning for birth control after the next time we have a baby.

I think that is actually the key. Once you realize it's not you or your husband making this baby and it will happen in God's time and that time only it helps to just sit back and stop worrying about it. I can't tell you the number of people I have heard say "It's when you stop "trying" when it happens." I can say from personal experience this is true.

This month I drank green tea starting from the first day of AF and I had TONS of the "good" CM, 6 days straight.... definitely try it.... :)

Only thing is, then stop once you've ovulated because green tea hinders the absorption of folic acid and you'll need that if you get pregnant.

I'm in the one week wait again .... *chews fingernails* ;)

I wouldn't worry about occasionally drinking green tea, just if you drink it lots.

I also quit drinking so much caffeine, started taking prenatal vitamins over a year ago, used an ovulation microscope for awhile, use ovulation predictor kits, checked cm, tried temping, tried robitussin for a little while, elevate legs and have even tried standing on my head a couple times lol!, one month we even tried every other day the entire month just in case. Go to the dr tomorrow to see if I can have a test done to check my progesterone level and will have DH tested soon as well. Got a new supply of OPK's last week as well as ten HPT's - so I'm all set. I can't really think that there is too much that I missed! :)

This is my 7th month so I don't know if anything is helping. I do know that since I've done these things my periods are getting more normal and I have a ton of EWCF:

Quit caffeine

Drink a cup or two a day of 100% white grapefruit juice and pineapple juice from my period to ovulation for more EWCF.

I take Geritol Complete as my multivitamin (I know it's for older people but I heard it's got good stuff in it).

I have quit charting because it was stressing me out. It's pretty obvious to me when I'm about to ovulate.

I started taking a B-complex vitamin.

I just started eating 1 or 2 tablespoons of maca root every day. Check out this thread for more info:

I'm trying my best to just relax. I have some harder times where I'm pretty upset but lately I really have been ok with the fact that I'm not pregnant yet. I've given it over to God and told Him that I am ok with His plan even if I don't ever get pregnant. I don't know if I'll stay here, but I'm at a point where I really have a peace about it. Before I think I tried to make deals with God but now I really am ok with whatever happens.

well, for about 13 months now
we have been TTC again

I take Lydia Pinkham
I chart with Fertility friend...sometimes
it does get upsetting to see such a pretty chart and no babies
I take prenatal vitamins
I take a B supliment
some months I have used the robitussin, or green tea, or pineapple...but nothing good came outta any of this...

SO strickly prayer this month!
