Got the Christmas tree up. Got on the bus to go to the bank. Sat Em in her little umbrella stroller, (the ones that look like dolls strollers, and don't lay back) she did pretty well, but she looks so little in it lol.

Daniel's decided that reindeer make a baa noise I told him to go and see to his reindeer (he was pretending he was Santa) while I was doing the boring part of getting the tree up. He was getting bored and annoying me, so I said go and see what your reindeer are doing. So he makes this sheep noise lol, and says the reindeer are calling me, their hungry. Very cute.

bunch of broccoli - cut up
green onions
can of black olives - sliced
bag of broccoli slaw
bag of sunflower seeds
one package of ramen noodles - chicken flavor

sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup vinegar
ramen noodle flavor packet

my aussie auntie said ramen is 2 minute noodles or something like that.

Well, I've had a fairly busy day. Had the second Christmas carols performance and found that it wasn't a microphone problem that had plagued us yesterday, but a didgy lead. So we had to do the one mic thing again, but it still went reasonably well. I also worked a bit of the day, went to have a bit of "pre-Christmas shopping" browsing, borrowed some books from the library, came home for a few hours, went to my Bible study's end of year dinner and have just come home from that

Went Christmas shopping with G'daughter and her friend. Aaahh! To be 14 again! I'm afraid I got caught up in the giggles, and didn't get anywhere near completing the shopping! Most unseemly and unbecoming behaviour from me, I'm afraid. Thank God I wore a disguise!

um... yesterday i did like nothing... today i just got my results back from my HSC.. yay!! i went better then i expected in some things, not as well in others!! but my average mark was like... 74.3333333....% so yea, i did alright... get my UAI 2moz..

an yea. thats my day

Congratulations, Aimz... I remember back in 2000 when I got my HSC results and I was a little bit disappointed with a few marks I got, then I got my UAI a couple of days later and was shocked at how high it was! But as long as you're happy overall with how you went, that's good

thanx Lozzie an KJ... i am happy with my results so far.. i mean, yea i would LOVE to have got a higher mark then wot i got 4 chemistry... but oh well...

absolutly rapped about my maths marks tho.. like 84% for advanced, as well as 36/50 (so 72%) for extension one.. when the most i could get for extension was 75%.. so yea.. im stoked about them!!

but thanx for the congrats!!

now UAI 2moz.. hope its high enuf!!

what's hsc & uai?

hey feather.. since u r an American, in an Aussie thread.. i will try an explain..

the HSC stands for Higher School Certificate. they are like final tests every year 12 student has to do.. an they are like a part of how it is determined if u are able to go into university or not..

the UAI stands for University Admissions Index. its basically a ranking of how u place compared to the other thousands of yr 12 students in the state for the year u graduate... the UAI is the main thing needed to get into university.. each course has a different UAI rank which you are required to get, to be accepted into the course.. bearing in mind that it changes yearly, it can be really hard to get ur required UAI some years..
