CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

lol well.....today i went to work like i do most days. it was yet again another funny day. i named the mop its the "unpleasantry's. not for general purpose use" mop. then while trying to pour out a lil drop of black paint i tiped out a whole heap then proceded to do the same with the red. so now im now not allowed to touch the paint lol.

Work was horrid. Urology doctor working a million miles a minute, and playing catchup all morning.
This afternoon, I scrubbed for the burns surgeon doing the skin cancers, and that was fine (she's cool). Next door was a whole other matter. All this teeth stuff, and chaos that ensued, makes me think there will be no more teeth in minor ops!
Went over to Mum and S's (my stepdads) for dinner with B (yummy pumpkin soup and corned beef). They're sick too, so didn't stay too long. B is fixing their computer for them as well...

I slept till 12, woke up just in time for lunch - spaghetti bolognaise
I'm just about to go talk to God for a while..hopefully I won't get distracted, there are too many people in my life!

Workedy-work. Went for a walk at lunch - loving the spring, although we've had rain for four weekends in a row. What is up with THAT, praytell?
Worked with two colts yesterday, getting them ready for saddle-training. That's gonna be fun! They're so precious, and sweet. Can't wait to have my own.
Getting ready to blow this clambake - we're having a work party in a few minutes. Not that I particularly like to hang out with some of these peeps, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Co-ordinating for the day. Changing patients into theatre gowns, taking them in and out of theatre, answering phonecalls, doing set-ups, making snacks for the patients, keeping the unit running smoothly - it's usually a busy day.
We normally have 2 lists in the afternoon (laser and general skin cancer removal), but the Laser dr has annual leave this week...

Looks like one of those days today. A very quiet one (which I'm glad to have after yesterdays shopping expedition) maybe 2 loads of washing, maybe cleaning the bathroom. I want to organise the pantry a bit better so other people (besides me LOL) can see what's in there.
Then last night I discovered the cupboard about the oven, has candles in it, 2 have melted to the base of the cupboard, so now I have to wonder what the heck I'm going to do about that. Also, it appears that maybe it's not a good idea to keep the hidden stash of emergency food up there (if it gets too hot up there). Have to find somewhere else now. So tonight it looks like I'm going to be turning the oven on (LOL) and climbing up to the cupboard and doing this all before R comes home and tells me off for climbing on chairs and all that. I'm thinking I can scrape off the candles when they are a bit melted again after turning the oven on.

Just me...
I had an 8am physio appt, then headed over to my friends place to do our uni assignment. While I was here I got a phonecall asking me to work - cause the girl had family matters to deal with - didnt want to, but I ended up being the only one available to do so. So instead of just coming home and finisheg the work we'd done that day (we had to make a 'poster' to display all our stuff from our inquiry project.. which means we had to finish off all the info for that today first) so anyway, i had to go back to his after work (which is alright cause he works in after school care too, and therefore does the same hours as me)... and didnt end up leaving his place til 9pm... 
long day... but its done now and groundwork has been laid for the one due NEXT week. hehe

Workedy work. Today was my boss' last day. Now we've got a part time director while we go on yet another boss search. (They asked if I wanted the position - no way, I'm not going to be married to my job.)
Making art tonight. And spending time with the hub-a-dub.

Nothing much to do today - just trying to stay warm, and thinking about this evening, because my family's going into the city to see The Lion King and I'm gonna be cooking dinner for my girlfriend and I Should be interesting - since my cooking expertise doesn't really go as far as main meals quite yet...but I'll manage, I think

Staying in today. Anticipated big storm wimped out so no yard cleanup. Might go down the shed, might not.......I'm sorta not in the mood. I'll probably hang out in the kitchen and cook up a storm, then there will be a surplus so I'll probably have to ring people to come and pick it up........hmmm, maybe I won't. Too much mundane houseworky things to do
