Once I get this big truck bill taken cared of, I want to start home brewing beer. I'll start with the kits though to get the premises down.
Aye, it was red. Real home job...more experiment than anything. I used a plastic PET bottle, a balloon punctured a few times with a needle as an air lock, and mixed berri juice from the supermarket. Used proper wine yeast, though. And syrup sugar for extra alcohol content.
I'm not really much of a wine drinker. If I do drink it, I prefer the sweeter white wines, with a little less alcohol content. Mostly though, I use such wines in my marinades - adds a good deal of yummy flavour, and of course the alcohol is burned off when you cook what you've marinaded. These sweet white wines are what I'd like to produce for this reason. That's next batch.
