Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Ambroise Choderlos de Laclos as well as a million and one other books that I have dicided to read at the same time...
(lol thats a pretty nasty habit isn't it...I do it all the time and it ends up taking me forever to finish any of them.)
Has anyone read this book? Very shocking that such a sexually explicit (not really explicit by TODAY'S standards) book was published in the 1700s...

Whats your book about Godschild?
Well, from what I've read so far, it's about learning to be a light in a dark world. It's about learning how to let your light shine, and how we can't do anything by our own power, but only by Christ. If you want to see a change in others- you must change first, and they will naturally follow. The Newsboys remind us that as Christians we reflect Christ's light. Christians must return to Christ, the source of their light, to be refreshed and renewed if they want to persevere and be the light in a dark world. It's an excellent book. :)

Could anyone make suggestions for my 15 yr old nephew who is a Christian and above avg, reading level, Some for fun and some for comfort. His Mom ( my sister 44) has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.

My niece is 10 . She is a stand up comic, really can go 1-2hrs from memory.

While everyone is at it suggestions for my sister and myself. And a husband who is a recent addition to her family and rather new Christian.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well. Just finished the Death and Life of Superman. Probably one of the best books off of a comic that I've ever read. Right now I am reading Dark Mirror. It's a Star Trek TNG book based on the old Mirror Mirror episode of the origional Star Trek.

I wont give away too much about the book, since I've read it several times. But the new Enterprise is pulled into the alternate Imperial Federation universe, and Chaos ensues...

I just finished "Dark Star, an Oral Biography of Jerry Garcia" by Robert Greenfield. It was amazing. The "author" basically interviewed all of these people who were close to Jerry, and arranged their oral statements in chronological order. I couldnt put it down. I was driving back from the beach last week, and I just had to read more of it, so I pulled over at a rest stop and sat in the car for about 45 minutes reading!!!!
