finished Pride and Prejudice; now i'm reading Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie while i try to work up the will power to read Wuthering Heights, my last AP Lit assignment. i don't know if i'm going to be able to take this one; from what i've heard and read i think it must be one of the most depressing books in the history of man kind. and i have a extremely low tolerance for sad endings:sigh:

I am beginning the last book in The Chronicles Of Narnia"The Last Battle". I have loved them all,but "Voyage Of The Dawn Treader" and "The Horse And His Boy" hold a slight edge for me,after "The Lion,The Witch and the Wardrobe". I am so pleased to say ALL of them are completely engaging, and I am so happy to have discovered and read them.

It was /so/ good! I loved it, it was one of those 'addicting' books. ;)

Finally finished Madman today!

It was vile with no redeeming value at all. I kept reading thinking that the climax would be when Jesus healed the demoniac, but that part was an extreme letdown. It was like, Jesus showed up, drew out the demons in the most unexciting way, people resented that the pigs were drowned, Jesus went away without telling anyone the good news.

Instead, the climax came many chapters before that when a bunch of pagans saved a young boy from being caniballized by followers of Dionysious during a human sacrifice ritual. The book was all about the pagans and Jesus was just thrown in there to make it a "Christian" book.

Doesn't even sound good. I looked it up at christianbooks.com..not one I would read. I am reading What She Left for Me by Tracey Peterson. VERY good so far.
