*Laugh* I know that feeling! I'm a book fiend! I've done that many times, just picked up a book that looks good.
I am so blessed to live in a small town that has the province's largest used book store. (It's a three story house crammed with books..you can literally get lost in there) I know the owner really well, and can navigate through the books like a Captian!
It's great fun!

Just finnished reading 'Johnny got his gun' by Dalton Trumbo (1939). Man that book makes you think, it's been banned a few times from the US during war because of it's 'unpatriotic' content, but it sure give you another, gruesome, yet very enlightening look on war, I recommend everyone to read it, it's short, but very good.

Story is about a soldier who in WWI lost all his limbs, could no longer speak, hear or smell, all he has left was feeling. In essence he is a soul trapped inside a hunk of meat artificially kept alive in a hospital, but he is still alive and thinking. The story is about his thoughts, and his attempts to reach the outside world again.
